Pillars of Happiness -A 2014 Resolution Guide

Pillars of  Happiness -A 2014 Resolution Guide

How does one become happy. What makes one happy. When desires, wants and needs are fulfilled one becomes happy. One can think so.

There are 2 things to this equation then, finding a way to fulfill all desires, wants and needs or just to reduce them.

The corporate and business achievers do the former and the yogis, sadhus and philosophers do the later. And they are happy. At least we can think so.

Then what happens to the rest?

They can be happy at times and unhappy at times based on 'desire - fulfillment' equation.

The key is to put effort in solving the equation.

There are few people who put the effort and wait anxiously and there are few waiting to put the effort and procrastinate. This is disastrous as one wants more and does little about it.

Once the desire becomes clear the approach also can be drafted clearly. In other words one can set up a goal and action plan.

Since this is a resolution time, it is good to think about setting a balanced goal, so when achieved keeps one at ease and peace.

Good wealth without health and people around is no good or good relatives with less health and wealth is also no good.

As in the picture one can resolve to have a plan towards the below as these have been found to be the pillars of human happiness
To focus and increase
Health

To pay attention and to decrease
