The Star Fish Story

Shimuro, was jogging in the beach as usual. He usually jogged from Westpoint to Indicana Square. Shimuro was a health conscious, young professional and an eligible bachelor. He works in one of the finest corporates of Indicana.

In the Indicana beach, the star fish(es) wash ashore, quite often. Many to struggle to get back and many die in that struggle. The next day cleaners clean the shore. Since Shimuro has been jogging here long he knows the star fish story. The get washed ashore and die and beach gets cleaned.

Whenever he used to see the star fish he would empathize. Shimuro was kind at heart and recognised by his peers and family as good, warm and kind.

In the beach case since there were too many fishes dieing every day, the problem was beyond his control and too big for an individual to solve. He thought the government should do something about this. He would blog, talk and write about this.

One that day when he was jogging he saw a morning cleaner doing something strange. He was throwing the satr fish into the see. Amused by what he saw he went near the cleaner to find out what he was actually doing. When he came very close, he understood he was not a cleaner but an old man. He has not seen the old man in the beach earlier.

Shimuro was observing closely. The old man would check if the star fish was alive or dead. If it was alive he would throw that back into the see.

Shimuro was puzzled with this funny act of the old man. He told the old man "there are too many of them, you cannot save them" and "the sun is already rising better go home now, or you may faint". The old man continued with what he was doing.

Shimuro insisted, asked him"what difference did that create?".

The old man gave a live star fish in Shimuro's hand and asked him to throw into the see. He did throw it into the sea and felt nice for some reason and was looking at the world man and said nothing. Now the old man said "to THAT STAR FISH IT MEANT LIFE and may be meant nothing to you".

Shimuro jogged away with a new smile and a clarity.

Thol. The SaintLeader.
